During my internship at BBDO Nordics, I had the chance to work on a larger branding project for Malmö Stad and Folkets Park. The park wanted a new flower illustration and a pattern to use across their marketing and seasonal posters.

I developed the concept of the dandelion—a flower that feels truly democratic. It spreads everywhere, carried by the wind and rooted in the most unexpected places: flowerbeds, lawns, even cracks in asphalt. It’s resilient, common, and beautiful in its simplicity—a flower for everyone.

That spirit made the dandelion a perfect symbol for Folkets Park, a place where everyone in Malmö can feel at home, gather, and belong. I designed both the flower and the pattern of scattered flowers, which is now a part of the park’s visual identity.
